Nigerian Brain Tumour Patient regains her eye sight
37year-old Edema from Lagos, Nigeria, was diagnosed with Pituitary Macroadenoma – a brain tumour that usually forms in the adrenal and pituitary glands. Due to this she progressively started to lose her eye sight. Luckily, Edema soon ran into a representative from Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai, who invited her to Navi Mumbai, India for her treatment. She soon arrived at the hospital and promptly underwent a surgery by Dr. Sunil Kutty, Consultant, Brain and Spine surgery. She states that within a day after her procedure she started to gain back her eye sight and eight days later could see normally. She further encouraged other Nigerians to avail the services at Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai.
