The Department of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology treats children with blood disorders and cancer & comprises of leading consultants ably supported by junior staff.
Treatment of children with blood disorders like anaemia and bleeding problems like haemophilia. Lead areas of service includes therapy of children with thalassemia major, sickle cell anaemia and children with recurrent infections suspected to have primary immune deﬁciency disorders. These children are seen in our speciality clinic and are offered diagnostic services including molecular work up and complete treatment including curative Bone marrow transplantation all under one roof.
